Cyberpunk 2077 mods are now available on console through mod.io. This article explains how mods are added and who decides which ones are available.
mod.io doesn't create mods
mod.io is the platform that hosts and delivers mods. We don't create the mods or the game ourselves. Every mod you see on mod.io was made and uploaded by its creator.
Mods are added by their creators
Each mod belongs to the person or team who made it, so it's their decision whether to publish it on mod.io. We don't upload mods on a creator's behalf, as that would mean sharing their work without their permission.
If there's a mod you'd love to see, the best thing you can do is let the creator know. Many creators share their work on community sites and social channels, and hearing that players want their mod on console can be a great encouragement. Please keep these messages kind and respectful, as creators make these mods in their own time.
CD PROJEKT RED approves Cyberpunk 2077 mods
All mods for Cyberpunk 2077 are reviewed by CD PROJEKT RED (CDPR). CDPR is responsible for moderating and approving each mod, so mod.io can't approve, speed up or guarantee the release of any particular mod. Questions about whether a specific mod will be approved are best directed to CDPR.
More mods are on the way
New mods are added as creators publish them and CDPR approves them, so check back often to see what's new.
